Birthdays

So many Birthdays over the last month, 2 of which were "Frozen" parties.  Jocelyn's party was complete with a snowball fight, making snowmen, pinatas.  Then Emily's party with her very own Elsa!  Elsa sang, did face painting, and made snow.  Then Sophia switched it up with a Mexican Fiesta with yummy nachos, pinata, face painting, and a photo booth.  We love all our friends!

ZOO...

Love it when the animals are out.

Disneyland once Again

Since Dan's brother David works for Disney he was able to get all the Brashear's in for free for their parents 50th Wedding Anniversary.  It was one of the best trips I've had in a long time.  We saw different shows, had a scavenger hunt, and had yummy all you can eat bar-b-que.  At dinner one of the performers took Noah up on the stage, Noah didn't hesitate at all.  He got to hit the dinner bell every time the singer looked at him, it was too cute.  Dan's mom loved it and told us we'll have to remind Noah when he looks at the video that it was for their anniversary.  Noah and Grant went on the roller coaster in toon town for the first time.  I thought for sure grant wouldn't like it but he smiled the entire time.  We also went on the canoes for the first time which of course was not too exciting except for getting drenched every time Noah put his paddle in!

Power Rangers

Last year Noah was the Blue Power ranger and since he's still obsessed with Power Rangers and his favorite color is now Red he of course wanted to be the Red one.  Just my luck Grant wanted to be a Power ranger and his favorite color is blue so we got to recycle Noah's from last year!  It was a lot of fun to see Noah and his classmates in the costume parade.

Good Character

I sure am gonna miss Lakeview next year.  Noah has an awesome principal and loves learning.  He received the "Good Character Award" at school from Santa!  He was so excited and I cou;dn't be more proud.  Noah is such a sweet, kind hearted, attentive little boy.  His teacher Srta. rivera loves having him and I am so proud of him.

Christmas 2013

We had planned to take pictures in the daylight but of course ran out of time.  This years family pic was a last minute thing.  Whitney used a floor lamp and the boys were tired but I think it turned out ok!

Mrs. Patty always makes Christmas special.  Complete with a Christmas feast, cookie decorating, and opening presents.

The Wilckinson's were nice enough to have us over to see Santa this year.

It's always a tradition to take a picture in front of the Starlight Circle sign.  This year just flew by and no one seemed to be excited in doing the yearly traditions.  We barely got my mom to agree to make sugar cookies then no one wanted to walk Starlight circle so we all crammed into my moms car!  This was the first time we went to Seaworld and the boys got to play in the "snow" and go sledding.

Though we missed the christmas choir this year it was awesome to see the beautiful Christmas lights at the temple for family night.

Grant was so excited to go to Noah's school for some cookie decorating.

Surprise...

Dan was so sweet and surprised us with an awesome 1 night stay at a beautiful hotel in Palm Springs during Veteran's Weekend.  They had their own little water park called Spashtopia and the boys loved it.  Noah was so brave and went down the water slides repeatedly.  We hope to make this a family tradition, these boys get so excited when we stay in a hotel.

Music Fests...

2013 was definitely our go "somewhere" year.  In April we went to Coachella for the first time because Graham was so nice to give a ticket to Dan that he had won from the radio.  Then later in October we went to the Life is Beautiful music festival in Vegas.  I just love being with my family,  we seem to always have a great time with each other and it didn't hurt that we got to listen and see a lot of great bands.  Top on the list would be seeing The XX,  Zedd, Lumineers, Imagine Dragons (with their crazy drum and acorbat finale), Passion Pit, Of Monsters and Men and so many more.  I know its time to slow down this year but I hate missing out so it looks like we might be going to Coachella again!

Randomness...

I love how my boys can fall asleep anywhere and anytime.  One day when getting out of the shower I was calling for Noah and he was no where to be found.  I then remembered I thought I had seen him go under my bed while I was in the shower and sure enough there is was!

I am so thankful my boys look forward to going to the dentist.

Love our friends, so fun going trick or treating at Seaworld.

Wacky week at school- inside out day and crazy hair day!

I love that I can go shopping with these boys.  They never run in and out of the clothes racks and USUALLY stay with me.

Dad and Noah were away so Grant and I had a date at Souplantation!

Always a good time with the Russell's!

New Year's Eve was spent with my family again, nothing better.  We had delicious Panda Country followed with yummy treats and fun games.

Visting "THE CAMP" in Mission Viejo when dad was out there for a week preparing for the Series 7 test.  Such a cute place, the boys enjoyed it.

This is the first time I had to leave everything in the cart at Target and leave because Grant would not calm down.  I can't recall what made him so mad but it was rather embarrassing.  He cried or rather screamed the whole way home, is wan't 3 yet- does that make it ok?!

Handsome boys on the dirty steps of the 2nd street building!

Though I am not a big listener of Tim McGraw he sure is nice to look at.  Dan was sweet to surprise me but lets just say the crowd on the GA grass seating are not the most classy people in the world!

Since we got away for our Anniversary we got to spend the day of our actual anniversary with these cute boys at Olive Garden.

Always a fun day at the zoo with Grandpa and Grandma.

Don't know how I didn't get a picture of myself all dressed up in pioneer gear, good thing though- I don't need any proof that I actually dressed up!

Sexy date at Flemings for Valentines followed with delicious Ghiradellis!

We sure love souplantation, especially when we get to make silly faces.

Before Mrs. Patty retired Grant was able to attend a session of Preschool with her.  He always seemed to love going but never really wanted to get involved with singing and story time; He just liked playing solo.
