This past weekend we went Julian with my sisters family. The kids of course were not interested in shopping but all in all they did great. Sophie & Charlie were all about the snow fights but Noah was not at all a fan, any time someone would throw the snow he would start crying- what a silly boy! I am so thankful for my nieces, Noah has so much fun with them & loves them bunches.

Santee Festivities!

Good ole' Santee had the lighting of the Christmas tree last night with some fun activities including: carriage rides, ice (plastic) skating, Bands, & the best entertainment of all was the Santee Stake choir! We had a lot of fun, it was nice to get the holiday spirit started. The first picture of Dan holding Noah to the side is a lovely shot of Noah's one snaggle tooth. He has had this one tooth on the stop for weeks now, I am not too sure if the other one will ever come in!

Disneyland

On Veterans day my sister & her girls went with us to Disneyland. It was crazy busy but overall we had a fun time. Noah wasn't too sure of the rides since they were all in the dark, he never cried but was sure close. I think Dan finally realizes that he's a little too young right now to really appreciate the fun to be had at Disneyland. Charlie was going crazy in the long lines, always taking off running- you can't blame the child for wanting to get to the front! By far the 3d toy story ride at California Adventure was our fav.

These two are best buds. Noah & Charlotte are about 7 months apart & I know once Noah gets older they will always being playing with each other. Charlie thinks she is so much older, she puts her hands on her knees as she is crouching down to say "NOAHH", always giving him kisses & helping him getting around by holding his hand. Noah just loves Charlie, he gets so excited when they hang out. I can't wait to see these two grow up together!

Sorry, this one is a little long- I can't figure out how to edit it. Anyway, Noah just loves music. I was watching Glee the other day & they started singing. Noah stops playing & starts dancing, play close attention to his cool shoulder moves. I swear whenever he hears music his shoulders start moving & he gets the biggest smile on his face, he loves dancing!

I am telling you this boy is gonna be a rockstar some day! He is always picking up his guitar to play it, we never even showed him how- he is just a natural!!! He cracks me up, I love watching him play- he gets so into it.

This past Friday my sisters & I had a halloween party which I think was a success. We ended up having close to fifty people, so thank you so much mom & dad for allowing us to have it at your house. Everyone's costumes were awesome, here are a few pic's below. We had lots of yummy food, a dance floor for everyone to get their groove on, & a fun game of Fear Factor. I wish I had my video camera during the game. We first started with a maze with mouse traps blind folded, everyone would scream anytime someone got close to it. Someone was actually brave enough to go barefoot & one mouse trap snapped closed on poor Robert's big toe! Then the top 6 couples moved on to the next round which was eating either liver or clams with whip cream. There were a few people gagging but only my brother threw his clams up! Finally the top three couples moved onto a relay race. They first had to dig through a cat box full of pee & poop (vinegar & melted tootsie rolls of course) find the key, unlock their partner & then pop a balloon to find the number of times they had to shoot their partner with a paintball gun! This was all timed & didn't stop until they actually shot their partner. I think everyone really had a lot of fun, Jack & Jill won the game! Hopefully we can make next years even better, we'll just have to wait & see! Above are some pic's of the game & all the fun decorations.

So Noah was supposed to be Charlie Brown this year but when I saw this costume I just had to get it. He actually kept it on but he's thinking "what the heck is on my head, my parents are so lame." He got all red & hot so he didn't have it on too long, hopefully Halloween night will be nice & cool.

So I think it was a mixture of Noah not having an afternoon nap and not too sure of the pumpkins but he would not let me sit him down anywhere by the hay, pumpkins or by a baby calf!!! And I just love the picture of him looking at the dirt on his hands, that is classic Noah- he doesn't like anything dirty on his hands.

California Utah Woman!

This past weekend my mom & my 3 sisters drove to Anaheim, stayed in the Sheraton by Disney then went to a craft show & lunch in to raise money which is something we have been doing for the past few years. It was a lot of fun, I am so thankful for these great woman in my life- they truly are my best friends.

I don't think I have ever really bought anything from the craft show but this was too cute to pass, what do you think?!

1st Haircut!!!

So this post is a little late but I had Erin cut Noah's hair a week before his 1st Birthday. It was not such an enjoyable experience. We tried to distract him with food but that only lasted for so long. He would start screaming, I guess next time we'll just clipper the whole thing to make it go fast!!! It sure turned out so cute, he looks too grown up though.

The other day my sister Whitney watched Noah which I am so grateful to have family near by to always help out. Anyway looks like she got a little bored & started taking pictures. Noah loves this guitar. We just got it for his birthday & he is always playing with it, if you look close you can see that 2 strings are already missing from all is ROCKING out (thats what you get when you buy it from the swap meet!).

Can you believe it, Noah turned ONE on the 12th! We had a low key bar-b-que by the pool with the family. It was such a beautiful day & all of Dan's family made it down safely from Corona. As you can see in the pictures Noah was not a fan of getting messy with his cake. When I put his fingers in the frosting he just looked at his hands with disgust "what is on my fingers"! I kept trying to get him to eat it but he wouldn't go for it; at least we all enjoyed the yummy fun fetti cake.

Beach Camp 09'

Ever since I can remember my family has made it a tradition to attend beach camp at South Beach Carlsbad. Noah is now apart of this family tradition. Noah did so great; every day I would walk around in the water & he would then put his head down on my shoulder talk himself to sleep as I would sing to him. He would sleep on my lap everyday for 2hrs on the beach. Unfortunately I of course never got a picture of it but here's one with dad. Noah was able to enjoy the yummy meals my mom always cooks while we are camping, the fun campfires with S'mores, the speedy showers with our tokens, the fun walks every night before bed. I am so thankful for my wonderful family & the fun memories we are making together!

My good friend Heidi has been helping me out with babysitting & within the last couple of weeks these boys have become best buds. Maddox is always so happy, never fussing when Noah decides to start sucking on his head or steam roll him. These boys are only 3 months apart & can't wait until they are older & can really play which each other. I am sure that someday they will be upset with me for posting them on the internet taking a bath together!!!

San Francisco

On July 29th to August 1st we took Noah on his first vacation. We flew to San Francisco which Noah did awesome with, he slept the entire time on the plane both ways. He was such a good boy, he would just fall asleep in his stroller through out the day never giving mom & dad a hard time. We walked every where & saw a lot. Alcatraz was by far the most fun. We also bought tickets for a hop on, hop off tour on our double decker bus which Noah loved. We went to Sausalito over the Golden Gate Bridge & took a tour of downtown which had lots of fun shopping. We are so glad we took a mini family vacation & can't wait for the next trip. (just a little side note it was so windy over the bridge my silver earrings that you see in the pic's blew off, no where to be found!!!)
