Mid July we had the adventure of a lifetime in beautiful Yosemite.  The boys loved every minute of it, so much exploring for them to do.  Though the boys were not a fan of the last minute family photo shoot, I must say I think they turned out pretty darn good- thanks Whit.  The first night we were there I was up most of the night trying not to throw up until about an hour after hanging out in the dark bug infested restroom, relief finally came.  For the next 2 days I was pretty much out of commission.  Then Dan accomplished the beast of a hike otherwise known as Half Dome and then the next day he vomited and then couldn't walk for 2 days!  So for the week we were there the last 2 days were probably the best since Dan and I were both back to ourselves.  Great memories were made and we were so glad we were all able to go together this year.

I love to see the temple...

Ever since we took a little trip to the temple with the boys they ask about going again.  They loved walking around and I know they felt something that day.  I know we need to be sure to return often, helping their love for the temple grow.

No more Preschool

All the above art was from Noah's first year of Preschool with Mrs. Patty.  Noah loved her, she was the Grandma type and made Noah's 1st preschool experience so easy. She was all about parties, crafts, riding bikes, and singing songs.  When Noah turned 4 I thought 3 days instead of 2 would be beneficial to prepare him for Kindergarten.  He then started going to Mrs. Katy's class which he grew to love.  He missed his best buds Hunter and Isaiah (as pictured above) but he of course made new friends.  Mrs. Katy was more about leadership skills, learning to listen in a class setting; she wasn't much for parties or crafts as you can see below (he only has one picture of the things he made)!  Can't believe Noah will be starting Transitional Kindergarten in September, my baby boy is growing up too fast.  Noah can count to 20 and recognize his numbers but is still having trouble recognizing his letters but hopefully TK will take care of that.  Noah loved Preschool but we are so excited for the  summer with plans for yosemite, beach camp, pool days, and so much more!

Legoland

We were finally able to use our free passes we got from legoland since during our last trip all the electricity in San Diego decided to go out.  Noah had to get a picture with every robot, couldn't include all the pictures!  They had fun making their lego cars and won first place in the car race- ok not really but they enjoyed holding the trophy!

I think I can...

Recently Noah's cousin Charlotte decided she wanted to take off her training wheels and ride her bike the "big girl" way.  The following week Noah decided to do the same.  The first video was right before Noah almost gave up but we told him he needed to keep practicing.  Within 10 minutes he was able to ride his bike, well at least somewhat.  We are still waiting on the whole balancing and steering at the same time thing but I am sure he is well on his way on riding his bike by himself!

I am still waiting on some pictures from my sister but for now this is all I have from our Easter weekend.  This year was different for us.  We went to the desert with my parents and Graham and Whitney.  The boys had a ton of fun dying easter eggs, having an easter egg hunt in the trailer, playing at the pool, and of course riding dirt bikes.  After the fun filled weekend we drove up to Dan's parents house easter sunday.  The boys always have fun with all the Brashear cousins.  The boys had a fun easter egg hunt getting a grand total of $10 in their eggs!  We missed not being at church which is where we needed to be so I am sure we won't be going camping again!  When we woke up Sunday morning in the trailer I asked Noah what "today was" and he replied by saying, "Jesus sacrifice". It was great teaching the YW about the Atonement for the month of March, such a great reminder of the true sacrifice made for each one of us by our Savior Jesus Christ.  I am thankful for this knowledge, enabling us to return to our Heavenly Father one day.

Safari Park

Last month we decided to venture up to the Safari Park with Grandma and Grandpa.  We had beautiful weather and a lot of fun with our favorite Brashears!
