In April we took a family trip to Disneyland, one of many trips to come this year since we bought annual passes. We stayed at the Sheraton which Noah still asks "can we go back to that place with the hot pool" he loved the jacuzzi. Dan finally got his way and we went to ESPN zone for dinner. Of course there was an hour wait so we had fun playing games. The boys loved bowling, Noah's face when throwing the ball was hilarious! It was so fun watching them play so well together, each taking turns. We always have so much fun and can't wait to go back sometime soon.

Meaning of Easter...
I really enjoyed the days leading up to Easter this year. Noah really took part in learning the true meaning of Easter. We hid eggs for him to find every night for 12 days leading up to the day of easter. Each egg had a scripture and something to represent the meaning of the scripture. I am sure Noah didn't get quit get what the scriptures were saying but he had fun finding the eggs and it was a great reminder for both Dan and I of the days leading up to Christ's resurrection. Here is how Noah tells the story of Christ's crucifixion and resurrection: "The bad guys took Jesus in the forest for 5 weeks and they put nails in his hands, that's not nice. He went to sleep for 3 days and woked up. He's not dead he's in heaven (as he points up to the sky)." I love this little guy, he is learning so much from his awesome sunday school teacher Haley Jesperson and loves having family home evening every Monday.

The New Children's Museum
Yesterday we had the opportunity of visiting the NCM in downtown which was so much fun. There were so many things for the boys, it was hard to get them to leave after being there for 3 hours. Noah was able to paint a real car with a huge paintbrush, make a monster out of recycled trash, run through the graffiti maze, made his very own tambourine and then danced around with it and so much more.
First Field Trip
Noah absolutely loves preschool. He has been going since October and has loved every minute of it. He never complains and always comments on how excited he is do go and see his friends. I am so glad he is able to go and really enjoys being there with his sweetest teacher Mrs. Patty and all his 9 classmates. On February 27th he took a field trip to Seaworld. It was supposed to rain so we bundled up and headed out. It turned out to be a beautiful day so we decided to stay longer for the new dolphin show. Literally right when the show started it bega to pour. Luckily we were prepared with our umbrellas but Grant was not a fan. We left a little early and by the time the show was over and we were loaded up in our soaking wet stroller the rain had stopped. Noah still had a great time spending time seeing all the animals and running around with all his friends.

Mom and Dads Valentine's
Knowing we wouldn't be able to go out tonight Dan planned a fun date night last Friday. We went to Roy's in La Jolla then walked down by La Jolla shores and found a spot to snuggle (and maybe made out a little!) I am so grateful for a loving husband that knows it's important to go out on dates, enjoying some much needed alone time! Today he came home from lunch and brought me this beautiful bouquet of roses so I then gave him his bouquet of flowers (ie candy). He wouldn't let me give him his card because he said he has something more for tonight so he wanted to wait- so who knows what the surprise will be!
Be My Valentine...
Noah received his first Valentine yesterday. At his preschool party they enjoyed yummy cupcakes, fruit, bagels, heart jello jigglers and so much more. He was so excited to help mom make his valentines (which I copied from pinterest). Also at school he made a cute little box to hold all his valentine's from his classmates. Mom and dad received a cute valtentine made by Noah which said, "Although I keep growing An inch at a time, I will always be your Valentine!" So fun to watch Noah get so excited about Valentine's Day!
