Ice Skating with the Youth

Dan has been the Young Men's President for awhile now and I am still the 1st counselor in Yw's (3 years and counting!) We had a lot of fun iceskating with the youth at the Kroc center last month. Didn't have any pic's of Dan since he was hogging the camera. I am grateful for our callings, it can be hard at times but it is also so much fun working with our youth. Girls camp is next week and I am excited that I will be able to spend a day with all the girls.

Sophies Dance Recital

Since I don't have any kids of my own I have to brag about my beautiful niece, Sophia! We were so proud of her, we thought for sure that she would not dance. She was the star of the show. She got right up there and started all her little ballerina moves. They danced to the song from Pocahontas, Colors of the Wind- it brought a tear to my eye. She will be dancing again at the Del Mar fair next week so I am sure I will have more pictures to share.

Cancun 07'

We went to Cancun a week after Vegas, April was an awesome month! We had a great time, Dan's Spanish really came in handy when trying to figure out how to get somewhere. I honestly don't know how anyone does it without knowing Spanish. We were able to stay for a week and did some pretty amazing things. Our favorite excursion was on our own little speed boat through the jungle and then went snorkeling. We had a lot of fun but were ready to come home to America!

We had so much fun in Vegas even though it was only 2 days. Dan won a trip through his work, way to go honey!!! We stayed at the Venetian and went to the wax museum. It was so crazy how real everything looked, it kind of freaked me out. Well this was back in April so I am so ready for another vacation.

Newbe

Well Heidi just told me about this. I think it is a good way to keep in touch with everyone and let them know what is going on in our lives. Not much right now. I am on summer break and will be graduating from Nursing in December. I can't believe it is almost here, I am excited but scared at the same time. I am still working at PCS and Dan is at Wells Fargo. We want to start on out family soon and hope to buy a condo this year.
